MAKING NEW PROMISES
USING A SCIENTIFIC METHOD TO LESSEN PROBLEMS

January 30, 7:00 – 8:00pm

This class is designed to consider our experiences with attachment and how it has caused so many problems for us.  These attachments lead to significant pain, anxiety, and other problems. We believe that a source of our happiness exists “out there” in that person or enjoyment and therefore make ourselves deeply emotionally vulnerable and deprive ourselves of any stable happiness. This class will discuss ways of lessening our problems through training the mind and meditation.

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES IN OUR LIFE

February 27, 7:00 – 8:00pm

This class will emphasize practical methods to use in meditation and in our day-to-day experiences to help us overcome difficult obstacles in our lives. With fewer obstacles, we are able to support others in living happier and more peaceful lives. There will be two guided meditations along with a talk and Q&A. No experience necessary.

THE VALUE OF A HUMBLE MIND

March 27, 7:00 – 8:00pm

In this class we will explore how to develop the power of humility in meaningful ways through meditation and practical advice.  When we learn humility we are more receptive to guidance, and our good qualities and realizations of life increase. There will be two guided meditations along with a talk and Q&A. No experience necessary.

MEDITATION AND A CLEAR MIND

April 24, 7:00 – 8:00pm
